A Note on Color Variation of Dark Earth Products
Nightforce riflescopes and mounting accessories feature an anodized finish that is durable and corrosion-resistant. Dark Earth riflescopes and mounting accessories share the same color and anodizing process that Nightforce uses for our USSOCOM riflescope contracts.
Due to the nature of anodizing aluminum, there can be significant variance in the resulting Dark Earth color. Lot to lot variance of materials, machining methods, surface preparation, and variables within the anodizing process all affect the final color.
While Nightforce maintains standards for the Dark Earth color, these standards allow some variation in color of the components of Dark Earth riflescopes and mounting accessories.
The Nightforce FC-DMx™ reticle is designed to give maximum capability at 1x and 8x. The segmented centered circle measures 4 MRAD and is daylight bright visible for excellent low light and super bright conditions. The open center allows for clarity of the target and better situational awareness, without unnecessary clutter. A .2 MRAD center dot provides a precise aiming point at high magnification. The 1 MRAD aiming grid is specifically designed for easy elevation and wind holds.

The TREMOR4™ advanced spotting scope reticle is designed for use with the TREMOR3™, or TREMOR5™ reticles. It is also an exceptional reticle for spotting with any other milliradian based reticle. The Horus Grid, patented time of flight wind dots, and TREMOR™ reticle chevrons give this spotting reticle maximum capabilities.
The TREMOR5™ reticle is designed to provide the basic capabilities of the TREMOR3™ reticle but with a more clear field of view. The Nightforce MIL-C™ F1 reticle is designed for the long range precision shooter. The MIL-C™ F1 features a floating .05 MRAD center dot for precise aiming and limited target obscuring. The main horizontal stadia lines incorporate .2 MRAD hash marks giving shooters precise hold points for windage, and bold numbers provide easy-to-read reference points. The inverted "T" range estimation tool is offset from the reticle for a clear field of view.

The Nightforce MIL-R™ F1 reticle provides shooters with accurate markings for holdovers while not being overly cluttered. The floating center crosshair is exactly 1 MRAD in length for easy measurements and fast acquisition. On either side of the center are 1, .5, .2, and .1 MRAD hash marks for quick identification and windage holds. Offset from the reticle is an inverted "T" MRAD ranging scale which gives shooters the ability to accurately measure targets with .2 or .1 MRAD accuracy.
