Hot-Lock Extreme High Temperature Threadlocker

Vibra-Tite Hot-lock Extreme High Temperature Threadlocker is a medium-high strength, ceramic-based threadlocker that exhibits unparalleled temperature resistance up to 2000°F and excellent performance across many different substrate finishes.

Typical Applications

Hot-lock Extreme Temp Threadlocker will lock threaded fasteners in place at temperatures where standard threadlockers would disintegrate. Applications include muzzle brakes / recoil compensators, suppressors, vehicle exhaust bolts, turbocharger fasteners, and anywhere a threadlocker would encounter high temperatures.

Instructions For Use

Ensure parts are clean, dry and free from oil and grease. Vibra-Tite Hot-lock relies on the evaporation of water to build strength.

INITIAL USE: Unscrew nozzle and remove peel-off seal from bottle opening. Rescrew nozzle. Remove cap. Cut tip off nozzle.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Shake well for 10 seconds.
2. Clean and dry threaded parts.
3. Apply Hot-Lock to threads of either the male or female part, then install into mating part.
4. Apply heat to the assembly, as follows:
   • For 1/4” diameter fasteners, heat at 250°F (121°C) for 4 minutes.
   • For 1” diameter fasteners, heat at 250°F (121°C) for 10 minutes.
